I don't know if this is the newest version since I got it for a really low price, but the older version that my parents own has way better questions. This one wasn't my favorite. It has three categories unlike the original one, which can be fun. It's just some of the questions are not that fun. My friends that were playing the game said the same thing. They were hoping for more situation questions where you guess what the other person would do. They aren't really like that at all. It's still a fun game, don't get me wrong, but if I was to choose, I'd say the older version is so much more fun!

We just got this game over the weekend on clearance at a store and it was still more expensive than on Amazon! We played it with a group of 7 people that we're very close to, so it was hilarious! I'm not sure how it would be if in a group of people you don't know well. It was easy to learn and even with 7 players the game went moved along very quickly and we finished in about 20 minutes. I appreciate fast games, there's nothing more dragging than starting a game and still be going at it 2 hours later when everyone is tired and bored. While you can play with as little as 3 players, I think 4-6 would be ideal. I grabbed a few cards off the top of my deck to demonstrate the questions and show why I personally think the game is funnier to play with people you know a little better.

Imaginiff we went to a Broadway play. Which player would get onstage and dance?

Imaginiff ________ were a Halloween costume. Which would he/she be?

1. A Vampire
2. A Fairy Princess
3. A Pirate
4. A witch
5. A Zombie
6. A Cat

All in all, I think this a great game and I love that there is no wrong or right answer to the questions. Great party game! By the way, there weren't any inappropriate questions I came across during my game play, so this can be played with a younger audience in my opinion. I think the closest to raunchy I came across is "Imiginiff we were all Goldilocks. Who is the most likely to wake up in someone else's bed?" While us adults were laughing and voted for the younger single guy in the group, the kids thought it was funny and had no idea what we were all laughing about.

I agree with Janet wilcox review...too mature even with the 14+ rating. Why there needs to be mention of porn in this game is beyond me. I went through all the cards to take out questionable and sometimes inappropriate ones. I would recommend if anyone is playing with anyone younger than 18 they do the same. Otherwise it is an "okay" game.

Years ago, we had the Imaginiff game, and it was fantastic fun. The idea was to imagine if (name of a player) hypothetically were or were to do one of six options listed on the card. The players made their selections in secret, and when the votes were revealed, the most popular answer gained a point for each player who chose it. Simple gameplay, and the questions were whimsical and fun. You can still buy that version (it's the expensive one in the dark blue box), and now I wish I had. Someone decided to add different types of categories, and they might have worked with better writing, but as it is, the questions are either boring or simply un-fun. The worst is the "head-to-head" category, where players vote on which of two players would "win' in some unpleasant, often aggressive scenario. Even the old-style category has been ruined by the writers not being able to think beyond the players being movies or food. The best thing about the game is the physical parts themselves...the look is fine, the design is fine, it *looks* like it ought to be fun. But sadly...it absolutely does not make the cut in this gamer's household. Maybe someday I'll pop for the old version, which was a hoot. This one, I'm probably sending back rather than take it to Goodwill.

Lots and lots of hilarity. I was surprised at the print quality though, it sort of looks like some of the colour is rubbing off the board and cards, but it doesn't affect playing at all and maybe it's just a sort of texture finish or something. Anyway a very funny game even when we sometimes skip cards if the questions are nasty. There are plenty of others. A great way to get to know each other - or find out how well you already do!

Great game received in described condition and received in expected time frame. This is a fun game even in a group of people that don't know eachother that well.

My only complaint is that for younger kids, some of the answers are too mature. This is rated 14 and up. So we just pulled out about 15+ cards, and made our own, as younger kids like this great game too. Why include things about alcohol, tatoos, and other risky behavior, etc in a family game.

I already knew I loved this game when I bought it... My sister had it just a different version (2006 edition I think). They've revamped the way you play and the type of cards since the one my sister has and I prefer hers which is why I gave it 4 stars. That being said, it's an awesome game! If I never would have played the old version id be none the wiser about it. You can't help but have a great time and laughter is pretty much guaranteed!!
