5.0 out of 5 stars Eamon Grennan again proves that he is a master of his craft, August 9, 2008
This review is from: Matter of Fact: Poems (Paperback)
With six poetry anthologies to his credit, Eamon Grennan again proves that he is a master of his craft in "Matter of Fact". His verse and lyrics focus the world around us and what is the absolute truth - thus, the matter of facts. "Matter of Fact" is a marvelous work of poetry, sure to be enjoyed by anyone seeking a solid work grounded in the eternal quest for truth. "Signland": Cicadas tear the air to flitters./Stitch it together again/As though nothing had happened.//All the leaves of the locust trees/have been leached of greenness, burned/the brown of a penitential habit:/Brother Fungus does it.
