More About the Author

Once Upon a Time, Deb Stover wanted to be Lois Lane, until she discovered Clark Kent is a fraud and there is no Superman. Since publication of her first novel in 1995, Stover has received dozens of awards for her cross-genre fiction, including ten Romantic Times BOOKCLUB nominations, and a Career Achievement Award in 2005.

Stover is active in many writers' organizations. She joined Romance Writers of America (RWA) in 1991. In 1994, Deb received Pikes Peak Romance Writers' Volunteer of the Year Award, and Author of the Year in 1997 and 1999. In 1998, she served as director of the Pikes Peak Writers Conference, held annually under the umbrella of the Kennedy Center Imagination Celebration. She served on the RWA National Board of Directors from 1998-2000.

Deb Stover is a native of Wichita, Kansas, but now lives in Colorado with her three children. Over the years, she and her family have also lived in Southern California, Northeastern Oklahoma, and Oregon. If you ask her which state she calls home, she'll tell you she longs for the misty firs of the Northwest, but the Rockies are still the home of her heart.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hot, steamy, witty, romantic., March 5, 2000
This review is from: A Matter Of Trust (Zebra Bouquet) (Paperback)
Genre: Contemporary Romance. Highly recommended Ten years ago, the trust between Taylor Bowen and Gordon Lane was irretrievably breached. Rather than confront her boy friend, Taylor left the small town of Digby, Colorado, to finish her senior year in Florida. Now Taylor is returning to Digby to set up her first practice. She intended to complete her three-year term and then seek a research position, and settle down with her wealthy safe boyfriend Jeremy. But Taylor's plans gets away before she can even reach Digby. Lost on mountainous back roads, she stumbles right into the man who broke her heart ten years before nearly naked and sexier than ever. When she finally reaches town, she learns the clinic isn't ready. Because of insurance concerns, the only place she can practice medicine is at the town' only veterinarian office. Mortified, she learns the town's only vet is Gordon Lane. This is a sexy, fun romance. I couldn't help feeling lusty right along with Taylor over Gordon's sexy body and prematurely gray hair. Hot, steamy, and witty, Deb Stover is at the top of my romantic writers list.
