Matthew Looney: hero for our time,

What a shame these books are out of print--they are truly classics. Matthew Looney is a little moon man, and he and his people have a longstanding antagonistic relationship with Earth (thought to be terribly dangerous because of the high incidence of poisonous substances such as water). Throughout the series Matthew travels to earth, discovers all sorts of strange things and sees our world through a fresh set of eyes. If you can find these books in the library, get them for your kids.
