THIS IS A GOOD PRODUCT. IT IS SOMETHING THAT YOU HAVE TO AQUIRE A TASTE FOR.YOU DEFINITELY HAVE TO FOLLOW THE PACKAGE INSTRUCTIONS ON STEAMING, OR IT WILL NOT BE APPRECIATED.

Purchased this item to surprise my family's in-laws who are English/Irish. Brought this to Christmas Dinner and the matriarch of the family loved it... not only the surprise of seeing Christmas Pudding at the dinner table but the overall taste she enjoyed very much. This had the table of 20 wanted to at least sample Christmas Pudding which most people at the table had never tried. Had I known I would have purchased multiple puddings.

Fascinated as a child by the thought of steaming plum pudding being served in Victorian England, I decided to try this and have never looked back. I prefer the Matthew Walker Brand -- I have tried others and have always come back to this. It is moist, wonderfully piquant, a terrific blend of ingredients, and definitely has That Holiday Taste.

It's easy to steam - sometimes I just wrap it in aluminum foil with a little water at the bottom and stick it in the oven for a few minutes.

It's exceptional by itself, and equally fabulous with hard sauce. Try it with a dollop of vanilla, pumpkin or egg nog ice cream. For real decandence, slap a scoop of Rum Raisin atop this plum pudding.

Sometimes I just eat it as it is, right out of the wrapper.

When I plotz, I hope they have this in Heaven too.

I bought this Christmas pudding for Christmas 2009 and it was delicious. Do follow the steaming instructions (which is very simple to follow) and it will have a nice texture and smell. Pour brandy on it if you want to and set it alight. Eat it with cream while watching the film "The Railway Children" (the 1970's version). The Christmas pudding is delicious.

This pudding was very good. Dense, and full of spice and fruit. I loved the one bite I had as it was so small. I thought it was bigger, but I guess I did not read the size so my review is good pudding but only one serving if that. My husband enjoyed it!

I am very satisified with the plum pudding that I purchased. I plan on buying the same kind next year. I was a very moist plum pudding I have purchased plum pudding from othere venders but they were not as good as Matthew Walker plum pudding. Sandra Hussar

this was the most retardedly small pudding i have ever seen. im not really sure what the point is. its not even one serving. maybe that was obvious to everyone but me but i thought it was a rip off particularly because it cost more to ship it than i paid for it so when i got it and realized how stupid it was, it would have cost me 12$ in shipping or something total to send it back.

do not order this item,as i did and it did not come all though i paid and still i am waiting for some one to get in touch and get a refund?!!

I am sure that this is a wonderful pudding, but I will never know. After I went through the order form, they decided to tell me that they don't ship abroad. P*****g off potential overseas customers is not clever.
