I bought it at the pharmacy and I wanted to leave a review because it's almost magic! My 15-month-old son was coughing a lot. I gave him this syrup every four hours for a day and he seemed to feel better after a few hours. Now we're on the second day, and I notice further improvement. He's finally sleeping at night after four nights of waking up almost every time he coughed. I will buy it again.

I was pretty skeptical when I first saw this product, but was desperate to try anything to help my miserable 13 month old with a terrible cough. After the first dose his cough quieted right down and when we gave it to him before bed that night, he slept clear through the night without coughing. That hadn't happened in days! I couldn't believe it really really works! I was also surprised that it really doesn't taste bad. My son doesn't mind it at all and actually asked for more after I gave him his dose last night!

I'm always opting for the natural options over the conventional ones, sometimes they work better and sometimes they don't. But I do have to say that I am truly speechless over the effectiveness of this product. Compared to conventional cough syrups, this stuff works IMMEDIATELY. I actually took it before giving it to my kids (1tsp) because I was coughing uncontrollably at night and could not sleep. It calmed my throat, took away all the itchiness in my throat that makes you keep coughing, and I did not cough even once afterward. It worked just as well on my kids. I can't believe I've found a natural product that works so amazingly well. And the caramel / banana flavor just adds to the taste. I can't recommend it enough.

My 2 year old daughter's cough seemed to be getting worse over the course of 3 days and had kept her up the last few nights. Her cough got to the point it seemed like every few seconds she was hacking today and I knew she needed something for it. I always go the homeopathic and natural route if possible instead of putting dyes, chemicals, and poison into my child. It has never let me down. After doing my research, I picked up a bottle of maty's cough syrup for her and the pesky cough all but went away after one dose. She slept peacefully through the night. I gave her some more in the morning just to keep the cough at bay and am glad we caught it in time and treated it naturally before it could worsen. I also used hylands sniffles and sneezes tablets with her as needed along with the maty's cough syrup. I found both in the natural food aisle of Safeway.
