The first batch of 6-oz bags I got was perfect. All the nuts were great. The second batch I got had a lot of hard pieces that could almost break a tooth, in two of the bags. I suppose I could try a third batch and see how that goes. It might be a seasonal thing.

More weight of nuts for the dollar. If you don't mind the nuts being smaller chips, this is the way to go. I use them in protein shakes so they get blended anyway.

I had been able to purchase the Baking chips locally for some time. However, the local supermarkets for some reason quit carrying them. I had tried a different brand, but was VERY disappointed with the taste in the cookies. I googled the product and found that it was available on Amazon and was even more surprised with the pricing. I can now give my neighbors the great tasting White Chocolate Macadamia cookies.

In trying to eat the most healthful foods possible, I stumbled onto some information about macadamia nuts have the most monounsaturated fats (MUFAs) of all known nuts. Found these Mauna Loa nuts on Amazon, and I'm very pleased with the price, quality, and will order these again! I had only eaten macadamia nuts in baked goods and such, but I love to eat these right out of the bag!

Vegan. Natural. Yummy in or on nearly everything. [Moderation can be a problem. Sprinkle with care.] Vegan delight. Mauna Loa is a top "mac" brand. For sweet Hawaiian dreams. Six 6oz packages equals 2 lbs 4 oz total, which is a great value. Mauna Loa is the largest volcano on earth located on the Big Island of Hawaii, which is my favorite. Awe inspiring. [Go to Maui for the scene, the Big Island for natural wonderment.] Definitely worth a visit. Enjoy this Hawaiian macadamia delight anytime when you can. This product is a great time saver when your recipe asks for chopped Macadamia nuts! I am not as hesitant to make certain recipes now that I can make them in less time using the chopped nuts. I am glad to have found this on Amazon as I looked for it everywhere locally and could only find it occasionally and at a much higher price.

I highly recommend this item to anyone who does a lot of baking and wants to spend less time chopping!

Great idea selling already chopped Mac. Nuts. In the past I purchased whole nuts then proceeded to try and chop them ... somewhat difficult. They taste great in cookies because the pieces are not too small. The 6oz bag size is also good because most recipes call for 3oz so easy measuring too just use half the bag! Very happy with the product!

We bought these because the whole/half Macadamia nut products from Mauna Loa were not available at that time from Amazon. Adding a little sea salt, they taste just as good, and as a side benefit, the cost is a lot less. But about the same per ounce as the 24 oz. whole Mauna Loa Dry Roasted Macadamias with Sea Salt from Costco, when they have them in stock.)

The Amazon "Product Features" say these are lightly salted, but that's not true, as you can see from the "Nutritional Information" the sodium content is 0 mg.

This is the best product for baking. Nuts are chopped to the right size for adding to all of your baked items, cookies, cakes, pies, quick bread, muffins, etc. and for any recipe that calls for nuts. This product saves me lots of time when I am baking and need nuts. No more messy nut dust from chopping. I purchase 2 - 6 packs and freeze them until I need them. I have purchased these for the last two years and use them for everything that calls for nuts. They are good to just snack on as well. - Enjoy !!!!!

Macadamias are hard to chop without a lot of "chatter". This product is perfect for places where you need chopped macadamias and cheaper here than anywhere else I have found.
