This is an extraordinary collection and tribute to Sendak. Not only does it have a wide variety of his art work, but it covers a life I knew so little about. I look forward to sharing it with my grandchildren.

What can one say? Maurice's work is timeless and full of joy, this volume attempts to capture the sensitive and reclusive artists many works and it succeeds nicely, its a satisfying book that you will enjoy for years to come. Buy with confidence though be warned-you will want to track down the complete books once you see the art!
