Maurizio Cattelan's exhibition at the Menil Collection, Houston TX was amazing. As you wander through the museum complex you stumble upon sculptures by the artists, displayed by his own curation. The works themselves are fabulous and were a real treat to see in person. The book "Is there Life Before Death" is the corresponding catalogue to that exhibition. The book highlights some, but not all of the works exhibited at the Menil. That dissapointed me a little. Two of my favorite peices at the exhibition were not featured in the catalogue. But like every experience I have had with Maurizio's work, the book provides you with more information about this allusive artist, and wanting more. Overall this was a good purchase, and i am very pleased to add it to my collection.Maurizio Cattelan: Is There Life Before Death? (Menil Collection)
