What do I see? 3 stars only by the previous reviewer??? I beg to disagree, this is one truly classic Gainsbourg album. "Ecce Homo" gives birth to Serge's alter ego: Gainsbarre. "Overseas Telegram" is addressed to Jeanne Birkin and f#&* me this is a great love song (the album was recorded after their break-up if I'm not wrong- that explains the overall tonality of the album: somber, melancolic). And the list goes on... If you liked "aux armes et caetera", you cannot afford to pass on this one. If you're not familliar with the reggae-gainsbarre, get ready for something huge. I love everything Gainsbourg put out (yeah, even the late stuff) and this one's my favorite along Melody Nelson. Reggae at its best.
