Plenty of books on Depression-era glassware are on the market so it's refreshing to view a different focus in Mauzy's Rare, Unusual and Unique Depression Glass, a book directed to avid collectors who have come across rare pieces needing identification. Also exceptional are good-sized color photos displaying the pieces, along with notes on makers and history. There are no valuation notes here, but the survey of over 200 noteworthy pieces of vintage glassware - many thought to be the only one in existence - makes for an outstanding specialty item.

I Would like to see Jim and Barbara produce more of these wonderful books. As collectors we love to check the guides. This book has beautiful pictures of rare pieces that we may never see or own, it's wonderful to see them in pictures. This book is highly recommended!
