You know, it's just a step-by-step example, which won't help you to understand Maven and how it works. If you never set up maven project, it may be helpful.
Also it's quite short.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Tutorial for those interested in Maven, January 10, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: What is Maven? A Beginner's Tutorial by Example (Kindle Edition)
I read this book and I found it well-written and informative. If you are looking for a tutorial to teach you about Maven, this is the tutorial for you.

What will you learn from this book?

In the summary, Ben writes, "In this tutorial, you learned how to generate a Maven project from scratch, how to create
time saving scripts to manage your Maven projects, how to install a local Maven project
as a dependency into your local Maven repository, and how to install third party .jars
into your repository. The skills you learned in this tutorial give you a great start on using
Maven to effectively manage Java projects."

Great book with great information for a low-price. I look forward to reading more books by this author. I hope he writes more.
