These cards look and feel cheap, are slippery since they do not have any textured finish like most quality cards do, and are made overseas in China through Hoyle. If you are going to host guests to a serious game the low quality may be embarrassing (my grandpa poked fun at me). In their defense though they do shuffle ok and broke in very quickly, but also seem to be wearing out quickly too. They do come with 2 jokers and a card that states the poker ranks. I got them for $1 at Walmart so I really can't complain too much, hence the average rating. Overall I would recommend saving yourself the hassle of upgrading later like I ended up doing and just spend the extra $2 for a trusted name brand, such as Bicycle, which I have found to be much better. You will also be supporting an American made product by buying Bicycle, unless you really just want the cheapest cards possible and do not care about anything else then the Maverick cards may suit you just fine (no pun intended).
