Music to set the imagination running riot,

I remember attending a performance of Ghost Dances some years ago in London, and had been gripped by its blend of evanescent beauty and almost delirious fantasy. Put simply, if you go for George Crumb, you'll go for this! The other two works are also quite beautiful, but it's Ghost Dances which makes the CD unmissable for me.

After openning this CD and listening to it, I immediately regretted the purchase. I found nothing redeeming about these compositions. I might have appreciated the CD more if I were in the midst of a psychotic breakdown. Good luck.
