I stumbled upon this CD in January. I play both violin and viola and was looking for some viola CD's for my collection. A friend of mine plays the clarinet, and we were going to be playing for the Shanghai String Quartet in February. We both fell in LOVE with this CD. We got sheet music and played the a minor trio with much success and the quartet loved it. We are currently working on the double concerto's 2nd mvt to play for them again. This recording is remarkable. Both players have such a beauty to their sound and they match their tones perfectly. I listen to this CD for days at a time! Highly recommended! (PLEASE!! Stay away from the Andre Previn CD of this double concerto with a violin substituting for the Clarinet! It's NOT the same!)
