Amazon Verified Purchase
I bought this fan for my truck, because the A/C recently went out on it, and I really don't feel like spending the money right now to fix it. So, I figured I would buy a fan to hold me over. I decided to go with this one, despite the fact there wasn't any reviews on it yet when I purchased it.
It works, but it's cheap. The switch between high, off, and lo, was broken out of the box. The only way to turn it off is to unplug it from the 12 volt plug in. The bolt that holds the fan and the stand part together was loose. And It's very, very loud.
The other two reviews on here gave it 5 stars, saying that it is quiet. Maybe I just have a bad one out of the batch, but I don't see how this thing is "quiet".
I didn't bother returning it, because to me the 18 dollars that it cost me was not worth the hassle. I won't drive my truck that much this summer anyway, so I'll just deal with the fact that it is cheap, loud, and the switch is broke.
My recommendation is to look into buying a better, maybe more known brand name.

This is one of the best fans I have ever purchased. For one thing it's QUIET. Not silent, but not roaring loud, either. The clip goes in many different swivel directions, so it is easy to get it aimed where you want it. The oscillation is only 45 degrees, but that is ok because the clip has two pivot points that lets you aim it well. Two speeds, and it moves quite a bit of air, even on the lowest speed. Since it is 12 volt it will keep working in the RV if the power goes out and there is no a/c. For the price, this is a great fan.

We purchased this to use in my Ford Escape for when we travel with our English Bulldog. When we have the AC on, in order to get it cool enough in the back for her, we freeze up front. We started using the fan last week and it works great! We had to buy an extention cord to reach the cig lighter outlet (they are sold at Walmart and Radio Shack)
It works great as is with the windows a little open, or with them closed and the AC on to circulate the cool air.
The clip it comes with is great, we have it clipped to the grab handle and we can aim it in any direction.
It is also quiet.
