This review is from: Max Delbruck and Cologne: An Early Chapter of German Molecular Biology (Hardcover)
Dear Readers

"An Early Chapter Chapter of German Molecular Biology"???
Yes, but how early?
I want the earlier chapters.....where are they? ( I'm guessing they're in Von Laue's notebboks that were confiscated after WW Two)

So if you read "The Double Helix" you might want to read this book.
If only to cross reference names.

Scientifc research by "name dropping".

But in this book you will not see the name Von Laue anywhere.
You will see the name Schrodinger of course.
Max Delbruck's name of course.
And everyone saying what a great guy he is/was.
Max ran away from Nazi Germany.....wonder why.....and with what?
DNA maybe?.....that would have been a good bargaining chip.
Besides eveybody in those days had to talk to Hoover....or Hoover's "boys".
There is no intellectual freedom like people think....not for this stuff.

However,
You will not find the panacea. Sorry I looked and couldn't find it.

And just like Crick and Watson they too know "The Secret of Life" it's just that
they "can't understand it".
With lots of cocktail parties and refreshment at this ridiculous symposium.

And the price of the book? 89.00USD..!!!!!!!sorry now it's 111.00USD

And still no cure for cancer!!??!!

What the !!??!!
