This review is from: Max and Ruby Play School: A Picture Reader with 24 Flash Cards (All Aboard Reading) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is really a great book for pre-schoolers learning to read. This has pictures that really tell the story. I read this to my 4 year old once and she was reading it back to me. It has flash cards in the back that are fun too! Max abd Ruby are two fun bunnies that make learning fun! Pick this one up and you'll be glad you did.
A proud mom.

This book didn't actually come with flash cards, instead there were a few pages of the book that you can cut out and use like flash cards, but they're just made of paper so they're not very effective.

My son LOVES Max and Ruby and watches it all the time on Nick Jr. This book is small and thin so it is not too overwhelming with too much information. It is set up so that he can see cause and effect as well as learn more words and to count up to 5. I love this book and the paper flash cards were great.

Loved this book when my son was starting to read but needed to "cheat" a bit to keep his attention through a whole sentence.

This Max and Ruby book is really cute and also the child can help read the story because pictures are throughout the story of various things including Max and Ruby. In the back there are extra sheets that are imprinted with photos on one side and the name on the other side (flashcards) but they are made of paper and I would think have to be pulled out carefully from the book and then cut with scissors. I left the in and we just go over the pictures after the story. It is a cute story of how Ruby is trying to teach Max but as always Max has other things on his mind. My daughter enjoys it but she loves Max and Ruby.

Bought the book and the puppet/dolls. My grandson loves to play with the dolls while we read the stories.

Well, the flash cards are really just pages in the back of the book that you cut out and the pictures and words are on flimsy printed paper that you cut. Didn't realize that you receive the same book, but I was able to give one to my neighbor's granddaughter and one to my goddaughter. Really don't thing the product is worth the money.

Just not worth the money. It's a thin book that I purchased along with the beanie babies. Wouldn't buy again.

Bought this for my 2 1/2 yr old grandson and he loves it. I have left the flashcards attached to the book until I can get them laminated. They are not on sturdy paper so will need to be laminated. My grandson loves the story and it has helped him learn new words and pictures.
