Though about 50 of them are simply snowflakes, the stickers in this book will make it a real treat for kids. Altogether there are about 120. The others include Max and Ruby of course, other characters like Louise and many little pieces -- boots, ice skates, toys, kitchen items, sleds and toboggans. Kids use them to decorate eight scenes, including the rabbits' adventures ice skating, sledding, building a snowman and playing hockey.

The same size as a legal pad, the book's pages are plenty big to fit all the stickers in.

My sons love Max and Ruby and we have a Max and Ruby book that is well worn. I bought this book hoping to add to the collection, but was very disappointed. The story is too simple and adding stickers to create the scene was too difficult for my two year old. He ended up ripping many of the stickers. My four year old ended up decorating the pages, but when he later tried to rearrange them, they had lost their stickiness. This book was not a typical Rosemary Wells book, too commercialized and lacking substance.

If your child has an older sibling, he or she will enjoy reading how the older one is always advising the younger. Will soon be a seasonal favorite.

My 3 year old daughter loves Max and Ruby and she really loved this sticker book. Tons of stickers and the scenes are really nice and active. She knew where to put most of them just from watching the show. We've gotten hours of quiet play time from this book. The stickers were easy to remove and replace.

I bought this book as a gift for a very special 2 year old. I must have missed the part of the description that this was a STICKER book. (It does NOT state anywhere that this is a sticker book)
Although, I think it will still be a fun book for our little friend. I was really looking for a book he could add to his library and enjoy reading for many years.
