Army Green Canvas Messenger Bag HandbagA nice bag for me to use when I am running my errands on the weekend. I like the zippered pockets, and I also like the fact the bag is lightweight and not bulky. I like it because it also can go over my shoulder. It was also a nice price.

This is definitely a purse, and not a messenger bag. This is coming from somebody who considers most "purses" nowadays to be too big to count as a purse. That said, I love this bag. I wasn't sure about getting it because I didn't see any really good reviews on it, but I finally got it anyway because of the good price. It replaced a vintage gas mask bag that I had been using as a purse until it broke.

As another reviewer said, this really is a basic bag. It has one main compartment, a roomier front compartment, and a slim zippered back pocket. The main compartment has two pockets, one of which fits a cell phone perfectly. The other is a bit bigger and I put my receipts in it. The zippered back pocket is too slim to put anything other than paper in it - it fits a full sheet of paper folded in half "hamburger style" very nicely. I keep my iPod in the front pocket, but it is easily big enough for more. I had a hard time figuring out how big this bag would end up being, so hopefully my references will help you.

My favorite part of this purse though is the fact that it has zippers. Unlike a clasp or drawstring, it is actually secure. The front, main, and back compartments are all zippered shut. I haven't had any problems with the quality of the bag, and I'm not easy on them. The strap is very adjustable, but it does stay in place once you adjust it. It might not if you put a lot of weight in the purse, but it isn't meant for a lot of weight. This bag is not for carrying around your office or school supplies. That said, if you treat it as a purse it will fulfill if not exceed all your expectations.

I bought this bag after reading the previous reviews. One review scared me because I was afraid if I purchased this bag it would not turn out to be what I expected. But I read the others it convinced me to buy it.

I dont regret buying it. I love it. It is what the other positive remarks said, it is just perfect to put a book to read a small notebook. and it has two zipper bags. One at the outside back part and one in the front of main pocket. They are very useful to separate small items. I recommend it.

This is a fairly basic bag, but with enough pockets and zippered compartments to make it practical. The back zippered pocket (behind the flap) is really perfect for my little notebook and a paperback. The inside pockets for pens, etc. are also very handy. Certainly a great bargain.

I give this bag as a gift to my niece. I like the size of the bag and the packets are great. I going to order another bag for myself.

I suppose it's my own fault for not noticing the size. This isn't made for 8 1/2" x 11" sized items. I had originally purchased it to carry my tutoring supplies in, but I'll have to find something else. My sister loves it, however, and uses it as a purse. I think using "Messenger Bag" as a title is a bit deceptive. Perhaps "Messenger Purse"?

I have become much pickier about the bag I carry, and I shopped in stores as well as online to find the right one. I have carried a "mini-purse" for years, which is just a big wallet with a strap, but needed something a little larger recently. It is still on the "small" size, but has enough pockets (both zippered and open) to store small things, like Ipod, lip balm, etc. My only complaint is that this bag does not seem to come in any other colors. If it did, I'd buy one in every color. For everyday use, it is great!

This product is exactly what it claims to be. It is a small version of a messenger bag. It looks great and I wear it everyday. It has a back pocket, front pocket and zips to close with a flap that velcros to close. The straps are long but can be adjusted. It was delivered to my mailbox in a soft package which surprised me because I was looking out for a package at the front door.

The delivery was a little faster than i expected. I was a little surprised when it showed. Bag was a little smaller than i imagined but i didnt read the dimensions so thats all my fault there.
Other than that, the bag is fine! It is perfect for what i needed it for.

The strap is nice and easily adjustable. Space is alright, just enough to hold what i need it to, and the compartment on the back is a nice touch. also the metal ring on the front is perfect for attaching ur keys to if u have a caribiner clip.
if u want a simple bag to hold some electronics and a few notebooks and supplies, like me, dont pass this up. great find!

I ordered One of these bags; received two by mistake and they both smell very musty. Hung them in my garage at below freezing for a couple of weeks and still can't get the stink out.
