I got my knife today. The knife was razor sharp out of the box. Yes is does not have the engraving that is in the description, but I don't care. The knife's handle is perfect, and I think that the knife was designed with the reverse grip in mind. This looks like a $50 knife, and the display case is also nice. It would only be better is if came with a sheath. I only intend to keep it in my cabinet. This was definitely worth the $21 that I paid.

As a lifetime student of the martial arts and a collector of weapons of all kinds, I found this Bowie knife an excellent tool. After using it to slice and stab wood and other objects, I could understand how this knife became so popular in United States history. This model came in a solid metal Military Commemorative display box; however, one warning about this knife. It does not have the writing on the side of the blade which is shown in the ad. Nevertheless, for under $20.00 this knife is a real value. Even though it was made in China, it is a heavy well-made blade.

if i could leave 0 star for this i would but the lowest i could give is 1. this seller greatbuyz102 advertises a knife that is similar but beware. the knife i received was not like the knife in the picture there was no etching, the blade was different where the angle edges on the top of the blade. the handle in the advertisement is very smooth looking and rounded corners and edges on the one i got was straight and flat on all edges. even after explaining this and sending pictures detailing was was different about the knives greatbuyz102 states that is what it is suppose to look like i asked about his advertisement picture he said it was someone else's but greatbuyz102 was the only seller i seen on the page. so please take my word and beware of this seller.

Bought this knife wanting the engraving as shown on greatbuyz102 advertisement. Received this knife without the engraving. Greatbuyz102 needs to update this ad and show the correct knife and description.

Since I'm not that interested in what is written on a knife, the lack of engraving doesn't bother me. The feel of the knife is great, the sharpness that I received it, the strength of the steel is more what I'm into. All of it was great. I've recommended it to friends as a good by.

this is a very nice knife, very high quality item and for the money it's a great deal. makes a nice gift to anyone who has served in any of the armed forces of these United States.

got my bowie knife today and am very pleased with it. despite the fact that it dosent have the comemritive script on it this knife is top knotch, it came sharp as a razor and just feals and looks good in my hand. this was a very good buy only thing i wish it woulda came with a sheath so i could walk arounf with it on my belt but the box is cool too. all in all a good buy if you want a trusty bowie.

I ordered the knife for a military member, I rushed the delivery to get on time. I recieved it in time for the retirement and noticed it was not engraved like it says in the description. That is the biggest problem i have that it was not exactly as advertised. I contacted the seller and he said I could return it for a refund but at that point i would be without a retirement gift for a close friend. So i reluctantly gave the retiree a piece of garbage for his 20 years of naval service. So again Thanks Alot.
