They are batteries. They work. They are everything I dreamed they would be. They make my clock work. I would buy them again.

These "batteries," as you call them, were amazing! They adequately segregated the anions and cations, and the charge seemed to flow more smoothly than other batteries I have experienced. I can say from my experience it seemed like Maxell added a little kick to these beauties as I could have sworn I detected more than the usual 1.5 v. Thank you for this amazing product!

I have used several types of "C" batteries and have never found a brand that were long lasting...
until now.
The price was great and I will always purchase Maxell brand.
Nuff said.

It came in the retail packaging and were charged. I am using them to power a chess clock. I might use it for a few hours once a month. I've had the clock for almost three years and the batteries that came with it just recently went completely out. I've only had them for a few months, but so far, no defects.
To be fair, I rated five stars. There's only so much a simple battery can do and I will assume it will last me long enough. If the battery should fail, I will return and adjust the rating accordingly.

They worked for a few minutes and then they stopped, I was disappointed that they died almost right away. It's not like I was using them on something heavy duty like a strong flashlight or a radio. I used them for a battery powered Christmas lights, there's only like 20 of them and they're very small so they don't require much power but the batteries didn't last. I don't know how long the other customers have tried using them but I got a bad set.

I realize that power consumption is all relative...I might be using these with a device which consumes much more or much less power than you plan to. Aside from that all of that...I'm using these with a wireless speaker that I have in my shower. It takes six (6) "C" batteries, so it's a bit of a hog...but after two months of daily use (20-30 mins per) the speaker is still going.

Bottom line, I'd buy these again.

Maxell is not the first name that comes to mind purchasing batteries, but I decided to give these a try due to the cost savings. In my application (watch winder) they stand up very well. Only time will tell about any leakage factor, but so far so good.

I was wary buying these because I wasn't sure if they would last as long as Duracell or Energizer. They did and I'm glad I bought them. They were a couple dollars cheaper than the others.

C Cell Batteries, they do what they were designed to do, power things for a limited amount of time before you have to buy more.

Is there really anything more you need to say? They are C batteries, fully charged ready to go in whatever you need.
