3.0 out of 5 stars Decent for the price, February 15, 2008
This review is from: Maxell EB225 Stereo Ear Bud with Wind up case (Electronics)
Decent for the price. These are the little "ear plug" type ear buds that stay in my ears, unlike those flat "golf tee" types that do not. The rubber tips stay put, too, unlike a more expense (and somewhat better sounding) Philips pair of earbuds I had (with no replacement parts). The sound is fairly bright, but after a few months, one of the channels only plays intermittently. Probably my fault though--I get them caught on things and yanked around a lot. I'll probably buy another pair for my little radio that I carry to the gym and other places. Word of caution: STAY AWAY from the Maxell P-8 Digital Ear Buds that cost about $20; they have abysmal sound, like listening to your music through a mattress.

3.0 out of 5 stars ok not great, July 26, 2007

I got these from a small shop in an airport and wasnt expecting too much to tell you the truth. They are really loud, in fact i dont think i have had headphones go this loud from my laptop. The sound is very tinny (no bass whatsoever). For the price they work and they come with a carrying case so not so bad but i wouldnt recommend them for everyday use.

1.0 out of 5 stars Painful earbuds, October 26, 2006
This review is from: Maxell EB225 Stereo Ear Bud with Wind up case (Electronics)
I bought these Maxell Ear Buds several months ago and I just wasted my money. They are painful to wear if you wear them for a long period of time. They are just poorly design and not made for every ear hole. If you have small ears or even medium size ears, you may find them painful to wear for a period of time. Don't waste your money and move on and find something else. Thumbs down from me!
