Bought these to record short (2 hour or less) programs from my TV when I was out that I would not want to keep (e.g., I might want to record the local news while gone, but not keep that recording after viewing it). I had been using DVD-R but of course they have to be trashed when done and cannot be erased and re-recorded. I have used about half of these DVD+RW discs so far and every one works fine, has erased fine and re-recorded fine. I also found that my regular DVD players can read them also. Very happy.

Load into the DVD recorder quickly and without errors. Good quality recordings. Can re-record on them many times without errors. I will buy this item again.

I have liked Maxell since the dark ages of audio cassettes, when they performed the best of all I tested. I have used many Maxell CD, DVD+R, and DVD+RW discs and have never had any problem, unlike other brands.

I have two DVD recorders, one, which is extremely picky about which brand media it will load. The picky one will load, format and record to this Maxell +RW
media with no problem. I've tried other major brands, including the #1 reputable brand, however, my picky DVD recorder will not load it, as it's not compatible with most other brands. I highly recommend this Maxell +RW for compatibilty reasons. If you have an old recorder, this brand deserves a try.

I needed DVD's to back-up my new Laptop Computer, and the DVD's that I got from Radio Shack did not work(OK, I got the cheap Radio Shack brand... my mistake). These DVD's did, and I like that you can re-record them, and they are at a decent price. I hope that this has been helpful.

Have used 5 of the 15 discs so far. Writing, reading, deleting and formatting, and no problems.
Being used in a JVC DR-MV150B DVD Recorder. Assuming that the discs continue to function long term, I would purchase again.

I have tried my fair share of rewritable dvd's, and haven't been impressed with any one particular brand. I've never tried Maxwell before, but the price was right so I decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did, so far I have tried 5 discs and they all work well. So for now I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Update (10-09-2010), I have tried all 15 disc now and they all work. So I am going to purchase some more. I've said goodbye to Tivo and Directv. Now I record my local tv shows for free, on these disc in high definition 16:9 using a Toshiba dvd recorder, and save $80 a month.

I have many DVD recorders in my video arsenal, including two Panasonic EZ models. Panasonics are very finnicky on which discs they will record to. About two years ago, I began using these Maxell DVD+RW's on my machines, and haven't had a problem since. My older HP & Verbatim DVD+RW's weren't working well on these newer machines, so I switched to Maxell. I use them exclusively just about every day to record
programming that I just want to watch - and then erase. Since DVD rewritable discs are not that easy to come by anymore in retail stores, I ordered them from Amazon at a reasonable price, and the delivery was very fast. Thank you, Amazon !

Different machines are different but this DVD+RW works with everything I have I can record from My Magnavox DVD recorder then play back on My Computer or I can record movies or data from My Computer, but using DVD+R I could record using My Magnavox DVD recorder but would Not play back on My Computer. I only had one damaged disk but It fell In the floor and got scratched up.
