I have been using Maxell XLII audio cassettes since 1980 or so and have had very good experiences recording with them. They capture the sound of the LP, cassette, or CD I'm recording as a backup version to play on my walkman with near perfection. They last quite a long time, and their playback quality does not fade for many years. I understand Maxell will no longer be manufacturing the XLII-90. That's a shame, it is an excellent product.I've been buying most of my XLIIs from Amazon.com or the Amazon.com marketplace merchants for more than 5 years now, and I've never been dissapointed with the excellent service I've received, the quick delivery, or the condition of the brand new, still in the original plastic packaging cassette tapes.
