Maxi-Cosi Infant Car Seat Rain Shield

I bought it thinking it should work with our Keyfit 30 infant car seat, and it fits well. Looks like it will work great for rainy days!

At the recommendation of my local baby store, I bought this to work with both my UppaBaby VISTA bassinet and my Graco SnugRide. It fits both perfectly and prevents me having to buy two separate covers (and the UppaBaby bassinet cover alone is $10 more than this one!). I love the hole so you can access the handle as well.

This rain shield is so easy to use. It fits on to the Maxi Cosi very easily and quickly then stays put no matter how much wind is whipping around. The air vents are large enough to make me feel confident that he is getting enough air flow, but they do not let a lot of cold air in. I Put this over his carseat when we are out for a walk and it is really cold outside. Between this and the footmuff he stays really warm and dry.

The best part is the opening at the top so I can safely grab the carseat handle! This is a must have.

Easy to put on and take off (we have the Graco infant seat). It had an overwhelming plastic smell to it for quite some time after we took it out of the box. As a matter of fact, over a month later I think it still smells a bit. However, it does it's job ( I purchased it to keep people's hands off my baby). I wish the area with the air vents was a bit bigger, though. Doesn't seem to have a lot of ventilation. But I'm sure that wouldn't bode well for those who actually use it for what it's intended for ( a rain cover). :)

I purchased Graco's Snugride Infant Car Seat Plus Stroller from Amazon. The stroller is a frame and infant car seat combination. I needed a weather shield to cover it from all this snow that we are receiving here in New York. At first I purchased a regular weather shield but it would fly all over the place and it end up ripping. My baby's face would be cold at times. Then I search amazon for a weather protector that would have a snugger fit. This item is perfect on the car seat. The ventilators on the side provide air to circulate for baby's breathing. It contains an opening on the top for the car seat's handle and it stretches. My car seat contains a shade for baby's protection and it goes perfect over it. There's no plastic flying all over the place and it hasn't rip on me so far. This protector is well constructed. I feel better knowing my baby is shielded from the snow and these terrible winds.

I have a maxi-cosi car seat, and Quinny BUZZ stroller, so bought for it. It is perfectly fit with that. We usually use this for not only rainy day also windy day.

I mean, if you have a maxi-cosi infant carrier and buy this rain shield you're not going to have an issue with fit. That being said, the mesh side panels are great for airflow, especially for summer rainstorms. I also like the slit provided so that you can slide your hand through and hold the carrier by the handle properly rather than gripping it through the plastic.

We've used the rain shield twice. Both times the baby was kept dry. Can't really ask for more.

I love the rain shield. I don't go out without it. It protects my baby from the rain and the cold wind. I love the fact that the rain shiled has an opening to grab the car seat handle.
