5.0 out of 5 stars Love this Booster!!!!
OK... I have to say that it's truly bizarre that there are no reviews for this seat anywhere!
I bought it based on the crash testing ratings(tops in the German list and their standards are high) and because it looks cool.
My daughter loves it and says it's comfy. The seatbelt never touches her neck. It's very solid feeling... easy to reach across to fasten...

3.0 out of 5 stars Better than graco, still poorly constructed
I purchased this because my daughter likes to sleep on long car rides. This seat is supposed to recline, however, every time I do this the top disconnects from the base. The side head rests are nice, but they don't come out very far so I'm not sure what they'll do in a collision. My biggest annoyance is that we have had the seat for 6 months and the fabric has holes...

My daughter loves it and says it's comfy. The seatbelt never touches her neck. It's very solid feeling... easy to reach across to fasten the seat belt... The cup holder is pretty weird... you have to take it off if someone needs to sit next to her.
I had a Graco Booster that my daughter folded like a rag doll in when she slept... so off I went to find a booster that reclines.
We've had this a couple of months now... sleeping is great, she still flops forward if she falls asleep in a funny position but I am able to adjust her then her head will stay back the rest of the time.
We got the Chili color and it's great! Hot pink, apricot and a dark plum... very stylish. I'm going to get a second one soon to replace her Britax in our other car.
You should go to their website and pick England as your country... they have a movie there that shows assembly etc. The British seat is a little different, but the movie was helpful to me on putting it together and setting the recline position.

I had my britax for 4 years and it still looks like new, I don't think it's my child.

4.0 out of 5 stars Rodi XR, June 15, 2009
By
Sturdy and has a nice modern look and appeal. What we personally didn't like with the Rodi was that it was large and bulky. Coming from the Britax Marathon, we wanted a booster that was compact and easy to manage - while being safe. We also purchased the Combi Kobuk which had a nice combination of compact and safe features.

We are very pleased with our purchase. My daughter especially loves the color and that it reclines a bit. She says it is comfortable and she looks comfortable in it. It is very user friendly. I have not had it come apart as others had described. It is easy to recline. I feel like I put quite a bit of time researching booster seats and safety ratings. I am happy with the seat overall. My only complaint is the captains chairs in my Acadia don't seem to be wide enough to easily buckle the seat belt with ease. My mother has a Navigator and the booster seems to fit better and buckle much easier. Just wish my seats were a bit wider, but it works!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Booster!, November 30, 2009

This review is from: Maxi-Cosi Rodi XR Booster Car Seat, Chilli Pepper (Baby Product)
I purchased this booster because I loved the Maxi-Cosi Priori. This seat seems to be very comfortable, love the adjustable headrest & sidewings. The seat part could use a bit of cushion but most boosters have hard seats. Colors are contemporary, yet simple. My rear car seats are curved so the recline doesn't seem to work but I'm hoping to make some adjustments.

Our daughter is 5 and loves her new carseat. She's a happy little customer.

We really wanted the Britax Frontier but couldn't afford it. This was our second choice. What I'm not happy about is that the armrests, which are supposed to lock into place into the base, DON'T on our particular carseat. Not sure if it's just a defect with our seat??? And, I wish the base had the Latch system so that it wouldn't shift around. Besides those two issues, we have been satisfied with this booster and would recommend it as an alternative if you can't afford the Britax Frontier!

4.0 out of 5 stars Quality, Safe, Booster seat, November 29, 2010

This seat was one of the top picks this year for safety and that's why we picked it. My son (4.5 years old) fits into it well and seems very comfortable. My son is average weight and height. I'm not sure that a heavier child would fit quite as comfortably. The carseat is stylish, easy to install and clean, and positions the lap and shoulder belt perfectly. My only real complaints are that the keeper for the shoulder belt is so tight that my son really can't strap himself into the carseat. If he does manage to pull the belt through the keeper (which takes some strength) he can't get it to retract back through the keeper on it's own after he's latches the belt. Second, the cup holders that supposedly come with this were no where to be seen in the box. Otherwise, seems very safet and I would recommend it to other parents.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute and comfy, December 1, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We really researched car seats before we moved up to a booster. My nearly 5 year old daughter was still very comfy in her Britax Marathon (with couture cover), but she was starting kindgarten and she really wanted a "big girl" seat. We wanted one that was stylish since she was used to her stylish Marathon, but also very safe and comfortable, and one where she could buckle herself in like a big girl. This one fit the bill perfectly. My daughter loves it! She can buckle herself, she says it is very comfortable, and she can still fall asleep without having her head slump foarward. The side "wings" are adjustable, which is great because my daughter is very skinny. The head rest is adjustable so it will grow with us for quite a while. We don't use the cup holder attachment because our car has a flip down cup holder/arm rest in between the back seats.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love all maxi cosi car seats, October 13, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We bought the maxi cosi Rodi for the family car and a graco for my husband's truck. The maxi cosi is $100 more than the grace but the maxi cosi is made and built much sturdier than the graco. I feel my son will be better protected in the maxi cosi if in car accident. The only feature I dislike is the placement of the cup holder on the maxi cosi, it sticks out far but it is removable.

5.0 out of 5 stars best booster, July 10, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I did lots of research before settling on the maxi cosi. Along with top safety reviews and the pretty pink color I also liked the feature that allows the booster to widen as your child grows. The recline does not really work but that's okay for us as my children seldom sleep in the car. In the past we've always used Britax prducts including the parkway. I am super happy with this purchse and highly recommend this quality product.
