It's very hard to find toaster ovens for only 2 slices these days. Most are for 4 to even 6 slices and can't fit on my counter. I bought this one because it fit BUT the height is SOOOO low that nothing but a thin piece of bread will cook in it without bursting into flames - a kaiser roll actually touches the top heating element. Needless to say, I sent this directly back as I really didn't want my house to burn down.
This might seem picky, but really it is called a "toaster oven" not just a "toaster" and I bought it to be able to make more than just toast, otherwise I'd just buy a toaster.

This is a fine little value if you are looking for a little value. Here's what you get:

475 watts - this means, for example, "broil" (top element on) is not exactly scorching (238W?).

The "two slice" stray is 9.25x5.5" - I suppose that's big enough for two slices of Wonder Bread or such, but I haven't tried it (we don't buy those sizes of bread).

Actual outside dimensions (harder than heck to find): 7" high (with 1" legs), 6" deep, 13" wide. Clearance from tray to top heating coil: 2.5"

This is a mighty toaster oven! I bake cookies, and am planning to broil some food in this tiny toaster. it is about the size of a loaf of bread, if you want to picture the size of it. it comes with an airbake pan which make cooking very easy! the timer on it makes cooking for me quite simple, since I often burn things because I get distracted!
I bought mine at fry's electronics for $17, but at $20 I still say it is well worth every penny.
I also love being able to use my counters without having a humongous oven taking up all the elbow room- makes my tiny kitchen seems spacious!
I would love it more if it came in black...

...little toaster oven. We live in an RV, so I don't have much counter space. Most 4-slice toaster ovens are too deep, so I can't open the door all the way. Even the toaster oven with the slide up door had too large a footprint for my counter space. This little baby is perfect. Its only defect is being too shallow to bake a potato, say. I toast bread and sliced bagels. I toast sandwiches with ham slices on one piece of bread and cheese on the other piece. I can bake refrigerator cookies too.

I purchased this item because of it's small, compact size. We use it in our RV and it fits perfectly on the counter and stows away easily in a cupboard when not in use. It has most of the same features as larger toaster ovens and does a great job toasting bread, muffins or heating up a slice of pizza. It is easy to clean. I would recommend it for those looking for a compact size.

I wanted a compact toaster (NOT a roaster or anything like that) to be able to toast 2 slices of bread. Size was a crucial matter. It's probably not outstanding, but it does what I needed it to do pretty well!

All i wanted was some thing to toast my bread and I like cheese toast so instead of another toaster I ordered this. I dose a great job. You should know that when you set the times you cannot stop it so if you set to toast and set your timer for to long you have to turn off the toast setting and let the timer tick down. Not a real problem, if you leave toaster nob on on a setting the coils will continue to heat.
All in all a great little no bells and whistles toaster.

I have a very small kitchen and just need an oven that will brown some bread or make cheesy toast. It only has two ceramic elements but it makes evenly browned toast.It hold exactly two slices of bread. I am a responsible grown up and don't need the "safety feature" of having it turn off when I open the door. As it turns out hot things are hot, I can be careful. For just twenty dollars it is a perfect little toaster oven.

It's perfect for if you have a small kitchen and don't mind cooking small portions. I've baked diced potatoes, "soy chicken" nuggets, and toast. Nothing's ever burned in here.

All I want (and still don't have) is a small, quality-made 2-slice toaster oven. I'm willing to pay more. Nothing on the market is similar to my old Black & Decker model that was so great until it finally died. I got this one and it is not really acceptable as a replacement.

This unit is small, but it is too small. If it were an inch bigger in all dimensions, it would be so much better. It can fit 2 halves of an English muffin or bagel, or one small slice of pizza, but only one slice of the bread we use. There is not much height inside; only about 2 1/2 inches between the shelf and the top burner, so forget trying to warm up a muffin (unless you cut it into pieces).

There is no temperature control like on my old toaster oven. There are 2 controls: 1) a selector for toast (both bottom and top heating elements), bake (bottom element only), and broil (top element only) and 2) a timer that goes up to 15 minutes.

The white finish is decent looking. The timer clicks audibly,and it's fairly loud but it's not horribly so. It seems to take twice as long to make toast as my previous toaster oven, but it does toast evenly.

I'm not really happy with this. I would gladly pay twice the price for a unit just a little larger, with more height inside, and with a temperature control, but nothing like that is available that I can find.
