We use it more than the oven in our stove!

The well thought out combo design enables the heat in the top to be put to good use as a steamer and warmer when roasting/baking/broiling.

I have been a countertop oven user for 20 yrs-even when my three children were @ home. Takes up less space and uses less energy. With the invention of the microwave, who needs a big stove. I use a countertop 2 burner hotplate also.

When my Maximatic ERO2006S (which I stumbled upon @ a discount warehouse) retired after many years (6-8) of faithful service, after much searching for the perfect replacement and finding many worthy contenders, I stuck w/Maximatic and went for the upgrade (Elite Professional ExLarge-23L-ERO2008S) which is a better value, I think, than the ERO2006S and definately worth the extra money.

This little oven is a big bang for the buck. I just love it. Rotisserie, broil, roast, bake, steams? griddle and oh yeah-makes great toast too. Roomy enough to roast 6-8 lb (at least) chicken or turkey breast. W/separately purchased pizza stone-a pizza oven. W/separately purchased steamer-a veggie steamer as well.

Listing @ just $10.00 more than its older model, Maximatic has kicked it up a notch or two. W/its updated snazzier look and larger size (height & width pretty much the same but depth, front to back is where most of the extra room is). Also much roomier cooking top. Profile is angled w/more room near the bottom which gives it a nice look. Looks much better than as pictured.

This one has a 'stay on' and timer function w/bell too. Yay!

The roomier multi-use top is very handy (why don't they all do this ???). The well thought out combo design enables the heat in the top to be put to good use as a steamer and warmer when roasting/baking/broiling. This was the biggest reason for choosing Maximatic in the first place and then replacing it w/the newer model.

This toaster oven replaced a piece of crap I'd had enough of ruining my food. So far I'm extremely satisfied with this toaster oven. I have already baked brownies, toasted bread, and roasted a pork loin using the rotisserie. I have had it only 5 days but am extremely satisfied so far. I bought this hoping to cook more without having to heat up the whole oven for a simple small item. The only concern is the amount of overhead clearance when using the rotisserie. You will have to tie up a chicken well to be sure not to push against the top.

The Elite Professional Jumbo was a Birthday present to myself ;) I'd looked for quite a while at whatever features might be available in a toaster oven and this one has it all and more. My intenions were to cut out on the use of the 220 oven - going more green - but also, I'm disabled and thought a toaster oven would be less bulky to use. I am a former Chef and cook from scratch quite a bit. I simply love this oven!! The top portion is a griddle/saute portion with a nice-sized cover for bulk - quite a unique addition. The rotisserie is a wonderful bonus and it's one experiment after another. It has multiple settings for bake, broil, toast, keep warm, etc. The fact that you can adjust the timer to "stay on" is a great feature that was a complaint (the heat goes off when the oven goes off on a plain timer) in a lot of other reviews --- you're allowed to slow roast and not have to turn the timer back on every hour. The size is "Jumbo" yet takes up little counter space. Mine actually fit nicely right on a "TV Table" I'd no other use for. The construction is solid and not "Tin-" ny as is the complaint on many an oven. Well worth the few additional dollars -- you can't go wrong here!!

We just purchased this unit. We wanted it mainly for the rotisserie function. It arrived Saturday. We tried to make a 3 lb. roast in it on Sunday. The spit is too short by about half an inch and kept dislodging, sending the meat to the bottom of the oven, over and over and over again. My husband is very handy and even he couldn't get it to stay in the designated slots. It just slid around freely and would eventually work it's way out and PLOP! We eventually just roasted it in the bottom, after each of us getting a few good burns on our hands trying to make it behave.

Naturally, we called the company's customer service about it. They feigned ignorance and amazement. The young lady who spoke to us was very nice. She even went and got one of the spits from their inventory, but, it measured exactly as ours did - same length. We verified there were not parts missing, etc., so... the only recourse would be to return the unit.

Returning the unit involves us paying for shipment BOTH WAYS, the company examining the unit and repairing, if necessary, or replacing it. No refunds. A company with that kind of return policy is telling you up front they know their products are poorly constructed and are going to fail. Fortunately for us, we bought it on Amazon, so we are going that route, but this thing is going back.

A couple of observations about this unit in general. It's a little on the tinny side, but okay. I doubt the skewer clamps, which are light weigh aluminum, will hold up, but will probably last longer than the roto motor, which was huffing and puffing trying to turn a 3 lb. roast. I would give that motor a half a dozen uses before it died.

The interior is far too small to accommodate a 6 lb. chicken, despite some of the posts on here.
