Although I had a hearing aid years ago I hadn't used one for many years and with the cost of hearing aids from doctors and dealers bordering on the astronomical, I decided to try one of these. The sound is fine for me and it is a big help. Being by myself, it can be hard to adjust when a person first puts it in because there is no one to speak to you, but after trying it a few times I watched where the red dot was placed on the sound adjustment and learned to set it there before putting it in my ear. The knob is small [ the whole thing is small to fit in your ear] and I have a little trouble getting my fingernail in the control to adjust it sometimes, which means taking it out to fix it. I haven't had a real chance to try the ambient switch yet, but when I accidentally turned it on I wondered what had happened. I switched it again and everything sounded fine. The accessories are nice also and I like having a pouch to put it in when I'm not using it.

the hearing aid performed well but foreign material got into it and the tool provided didn't work. The contact information for customer service is challenging. I am still waiting for clarification.

The mfr. sent a duplicate unit which I was able to return without difficulty

the product is good but it is difficult to achieve seal the interface between the skin and the device. I not recommend this product.
