Stir-fry Asian-style or boil, steam, and fry Western-style right on the table or countertop with this round-bottom electric wok. With a capacity of 6-1/2 quarts, it's big enough for family meals: 10-3/4 inches high to the knob on its dome lid and 14-1/4 inches in diameter. Tubular stainless-steel legs stay cool so the wok won't harm any surface. Plug in the detachable cord and a thermostat adjusts heat from "warm" to 400 degrees F. Drawing 1,600 watts of power, the wok heats and reheats quickly, a boon if more than one dish is being prepared. A removable rack holds baskets for steaming seafood, vegetables, and other delicate foods. Included are a wooden spoon and spatula set. The wok's two handles and lid knob are unfinished wood and stay cool. Unplug the wok, which is nonstick inside and out, and it can be immersed in sudsy water for cleaning.
