I started out using regular brand maxi pads after I delivered (Always, Playtex, etc.) The regular brand pads left me chafed and uncomfortable. I bought these online and have been much happier since they arrived. They are large and super soft, and I have had no irritation with them. I highly recommend these for post delivery recovery-- I only wish someone had told me about them in advance!

These pads are very soft, which was very important to me in the days after my daugher's birth. I only wish they had wings, as they did move when I moved.

You will get large pads at hospitals for the first two days. And this Maxim Maternity Pads will be the choice for the next few days until the second week before you can change to regular pads. This maternity pad is softer and absorbs well, so make me feel comfortable.

I couldn't quite find the same type as the hospital gave me, but I bought these for when the freebies from the hospital ran out. I used them to cover my C-section incision while it was healing (to avoid putting a perfumed pad over an open wound). They work just fine for that although the hospital ones had tails on both sides and no sticky back. Sometimes the sticky back on these would peel off under my clothes and that was obnoxious. I wish I could have spent a little less and not had to buy three boxes; it was more than I needed.
