I am so glad to have found this product! I used to sweat all the time (no matter if it was hot or cold, summer or winter) and it was so embarrassing to walk around with sopping wet armpits all the time! I tried the "Crystal Body Deodorant" figuring if I'm going to sweat I might as well just use a natural deodorant so my shirts don't get ruined as well from the antiperspirant. Unfortunately I'm a really active guy so after a few days I felt like I was stinking something fierce!! It just didn't work for me. Upon researching new deodorants I stumbled upon a message board/forum and a girl recommended this. I haven't broke a sweat one day since using this (even in hot weather) and it's great because I put it on at night, take a shower the next morning and then apply a deodorant only (without the antiperspirant) and it doesn't stain my shirts! Now every time I see someone sweating excessively I recommend this to them! I'm glad I found this...it's definitely worth the price! I usually buy the four pack.

Okay, so I don't know how to write this so that people will actually believe me but I'll give it a shot. I'm a 25 yr old female, average weight and height but I used to sweat buckets under my arms! It could be cold out, it could be warm, it could be neutral, it didn't matter, my underarms were sweating. Day, night, as soon as I got out of the shower my underarms began to perspire. When I shopped I passed by shirts that I new would show the sweat, but the embarrassment was only part of it, the discomfort of always wearing a wet shirt was unbearable, I changed shirts several times a day. I was skeptical when I bought Maxim and I thought it was pretty expensive but I was willing to try anything! I applied the product just before bed as directed and the first thing I noticed was the itching and discomfort but I figured "hey if I'm feeling this, it must be doing something" I had a little trouble sleeping the first night because of this but again, I was willing to go through anything for a product that worked. The next day I put on a shirt that I KNEW showed sweat every time I wore it and I waited. I waited all day for sweat and it didn't come! So I thought maybe it was a fluke. Again I applied the product and again it itched at night but since it seemed to work I kept using it. It's been 28 days since I started using the product and the only time I have sweat was the one day that I forgot to apply it the previous night. Even then it was not a lot. This past week I started using it every other day and the itching when I apply it has stopped and the product lasts even on the off days, I still do not sweat and I feel like a new person! I will keep buying this product for as long as I need it! It really works!

first let me say thank you for this amazing product. i have suffered with hyperhydrosis since i was in middle school. i am now 25 years old. for the first time in my life i can wear a colored shirt in public without having to worry about sweating. i feel much more confident going out now! i will for sure order again and again. it is worth twice what i paid for it! thanks again

Thank you Maxim for such a great product. I have suffered my whole adult life from excess sweating. I am a retail manager and being sweat free has given me so much more confidence. I can wear color now...I don't have to sick to knits that don't show sweat or black and white. Maxim did make me break out at first...but I just applied a little less product and the problem was gone. I was sweat free the first day I used it. I have been using Maxim for 3 years. One bottle last about six months.

Finally I feel comfortable. It was driving me crazy that I sweat when cold, or that after shower applying antiperspirant I was still wet-weird. I gave a shot, and it works. After one application it sting a bit, but next day it was burning as hell, I had to wash it off with cold water and still feel pain all night and next day. I talked to Corad Healthcare rep and the lady said that I could overdo, wait till irritation is gone, and than when needed apply with fingertips. If irritation will still occur then company will replace regular Maxim for a sensitive one for free.
The active ingredient is aluminum chloride 15%, it`s 1 oz bottle. The consistency is water like, and when I started to roll it was leaking, so it`s better not to apply up side down, and only a little bit.
Aluminum chloride shrinks the sweat glands, it`s irritating and it shouldn`t be use on injured skin (wound, cut, after shave). After few days of using it`s enough to apply every few days (for me it worked after 1 time) always at night (it takes time to work), on clean and dry skin.
I think this product might as well work for feet and hands excessive sweating.

Additional comment: 3 days later with working out no sweat underarms, I sweat more on the other parts, like forehead, that`s normal. Also I found 12% aluminum chloride product in Target and Walgreens for $5 and that`s what I`m gonna get next time (it`s called Certain Dri, easy to find on Amazon too, but shipping costs will get you another bottle).

The direction on the bottle say it can last up to a year. Its only 1 ounce. I have used it every 2-4 days for less then 2 months and it pretty much empty. I have noticed a huge improvement, but I'm not quite there. My roommate said after one year of using Maxim, himself, he hasn't had to use the product since and today he NEVER sweats. He stopped using Maxim several years ago. I'm hopefull for continued success.

This product is a dream come true. I've been sweating since since grade and now I'm about to go off to college and I was dreading not being able to wear my school colors at basketball games because of my sweating. I've been living my life in black and white clothes or fabrics that don't show wetness. I couldn't even wear a colorful dress to my senior prom and I steered away from jobs that required a uniform colored polo shirt knowing that I couldn't wear it without being embarrassed. I was considering spending the money I received from graduation to have sweat-gland removal surgery, but was defeated when I couldn't find a local doctor to do it.

Then, I came on this website to find some sweat guards to put in my shirts and this product popped up on the bottom of the screen. It was expensive and I was skeptical having tried many other products including Certain Dri, but I thought I would give an antiperspirant one more shot. It was the best decision I made.

The product does have its drawbacks, but I think they're worth it. It is a little expensive and it can burn and itch like crazy when you put it on. The first week is the worst, but then you start to get used to it and it isn't so bad. I've noticed that after I shave and use it I develop a little rash, so you should wait to use it again. If you skip a day or two, it still works. My sweating hasn't stopped completely, but it is minimal enough now that a normal drug store deodorant/antiperspirant takes care of it.

It does hurt a little, but right now I'm wearing a green shirt for the first time since elementary school. I still can't believe my sweating is gone. It comes right from the company that makes Maxim, so price and shipping is the same as going directly through the company's website. I've been using this product for the past 10 years and it works great for me. I've had issues in the past with excessive sweating and under-arm smell. Maxium works great for those that don't want to go to the doctor! I apply it after I shower, for 1 week, and I'm good to go without using it for a whole month. I just use regular deoderant (not anti-persperant). I will buy this product again when I run out of what I currently have!

I've been using Maxim for about seven years and I absolutely LOVE this product. Whereas extra-strength and prescription antiperspirants were completely ineffective for me, Maxim completely eliminates underarm perspiration. My husband also uses Maxim, and he only needs to apply it about once every 6 months to stay dry. I use it more frequently, probably around once per month, but I am amazed at its effectiveness.

This needs to be put on at night. It works to keep the sweaty arm pits away. Can be itchy, though. Worth the price.
