I have bought off-brand batteries for my other Nikon cameras and have noticed no difference. So far so good with this one. It acts just like the more expensive Nikon EN-EL12.

While on vacation we needed this backup battery. It worked for a couple days and maybe 30 to 40 pictures. I expected more but at least we got some use.

I have a tendency to go through batteries when on vacation. Whether it be in the African Bush, or along the river in the Amazon. Being a wildlife fanatic, I am always shooting photos consistently. There are times when the battery runs out and I need a replacement immediately. Due to the low price on this battery, I opted to make the purchase. It fits perfectly into my Nikon Coolpix and gives me hour upon hour of durability and usage. I am elated that I was able to save a few dollars and get the quality this battery delivers.

This battery ran my camera for several minutes. Just long enough for me to not send it back immediately. Then, when I went on vacation and was out snapping pictures and needed to put it in as a spare, it pooped out after 5 minutes. Pathetic. It's cheap for a good reason.

I purchased a MaximalPower replacement battery (EN-EL12) as an extra battery when I purchased my Nikon Coolpix S6000 camera. This battery lasted through ONE CHARGE, and could not be re-charged.I would NEVER buy this brand again. I will only buy Nikon batteries.

The battery that came with my camera stopped taking a charge after about 4 months. I called the company and the rep said that my battery was "completely dead." I don't know the technicalities of it, but Nikon won't ship batteries to overseas locations. However, this company does. And this battery saved my life. I bought two of them and it works perfectly fine. I haven't had any problems yet.

Works great for Nikon S6000. Nikon battery ran out right in the middle of my sons birthday party. I was really glad I had a back up battery.

The battery supplied with the camera took 4 hours to charge. This replacement battery took only two hours to fully charge.I hope that is not an indication that it will only last half the time of the battery supplied, we will find out.

I have bought one "after market" (non-OEM) battery whose only problem was its shape was off enough to get stuck in my camera. This one, like most all the non-OEM batteries I've purchased, fits and works just like the original. And I like the fact that it's white to differentiate it from the OEM battery. It costs the same as a throw-away 9-volt you'd buy at the corner store, so how could you go wrong?
