The NB-6L Rapid Travel Charger, with it's included D/C Car, American A/C and European A/C adapters, is a GREAT value. The unit itself is a little big compared to the size battery it's charging, and the plastic housing is just thick enough. But for [...] bucks, how can you beat it The only problem: the shipping costs more than the unit did!!!

This is a very affordable alternative battery charger. It works well and was priced right...two things I love...

A little large in size, but I assume that is because of the internal componets for the vehicle capabilities for charging on the go.

Great charger. I wish every product would work on AC or DC like this one. My only quibble is that it is somewhat large. When traveling I like everything to be very small.

Purchased the battery and charger as a backup for use while camping and away from a 110 volt power source. Both charger and battery work well for that use. The 12 volt power supply cord did not fit the charger. I had to use a small drill bit to open up the cord to accomodate the charger prong, which is a lot more effort than most buyers would like to do.

I bought a canon 1300IS camera and recently lost its charger. I was searching for a replacement in amazon and found this product.

Pros:
* Car charger available.
* Canon NB-6L batteries fit in very well.
* Time for charging is not that different from the old canon charger I had.
* Cheapest in amazon.com I could get!

Cons:
* Size. If you stick to "value for money" products, this one is a good replacement for you.

It's a little big compared with the original canon but just a detail. It works perfect and is light. Good price!

Unit arrived in apparent working condition, but after just 2 weeks of use unit is now dead. No lights, no charging. Appears to be of poor quality.

Very compact...and easy to use. The battery is a little touchy to get since it just slides in. Hard to know when battery is fully charged since both lights seem to be on whenever the system is pluged in. It does come with the Euro-adapter and car charger...so we'll see how well it handles on my trip.
