This is one of the albums that got me hooked on Maxime le Forestier. He speaks not only to the hippie part of me, but the tortured lover as well. The unabashed frustration of "Je M'en Fou de la France", the angst of "Si Tu Etais Ne en Mai", the amusing dress-down of an audience in "Le Steak" - all these are illustrative of le Forestier's early folk work, and are intelligent, hummable (and singable) and timeless. A must-have.
