Teaches you how to do ML estimation in Stata, nothing more, nothing less. Well-stocked with examples, so that even though I had barely any experience programming in Stata, I was able to code a reasonably-complex likelihood function after a relatively fast (and surprisingly enjoyable) read.

This is a great buy; a brand new book. I like the step-by-step approach it has to explaining maximum likelihood estimations in Stata. The introduction which goes over basic ML theory is very easy to understand. If it were hardcover it would be even better but paperback is fine. Great book. I highly recommend it!
