So far this Motherboard is a POWERHOUSE. What I mean is it can take a beating and works great. This board is great for first time OverClockers (OC) to enthusiast/professional OCers. First I will talk about some of the features, this portion will be ripped from the Asus's website seeing as Amazon doesn't have it posted. The really impressive list consists of just about everything you could want or need. This board is truly worth having with top of the line components. Just be wary that there are definitely RAM compatability problems and you must ensure proper power delivery from your PSU at every plug on the board. I have brought my i7 3770k to 4.8GHZ with 2x4GB of G Skill Trident X (@2400 MHZ) RAM stable. If using other types, be sure to make sure it is compatible as I strictly bought this RAM knowing it was on the compatibility list in the online manual. This is not just a plug and play board with regular DDR3 1600 and Sandy Bridge processors... You will see no difference when using this board with these components.

Now to the title. If you are thinking of using easy mode, I recommend you don't as of writing this. Just buy the regular blue series of motherboard as you will see no difference using their default overclocking settings. RAM timings are getting more complicated with the latest speeds and when I used the basic overclocking settings, it made my setup unreliable. But I am savvy with voltage controls and of course, the advanced mode gives you the premium adjustments you would be paying for. The added ROG accessories and features are a huge step in ensuring stable settings and I've used my DUAL BIOS more times than I can count to tweak my clocks to even highers speeds. I've reached 5GHZ+ with an H100 (not stable yet but I'm trying!). I guess what I want to say is that this board should not be bought and used for default overclocking settings. Especially with the latest and greatest to go with it. If you aren't overclocking or using more PCI lanes... then this is just the biggest waste of money you'll ever spend. ASUS boards around $200 will show equal returns if you don't overclock or use their default overclock settings.

More features than anyone would ever need, high quality components! If your into overkill products this is the motherboard for you, easily overclocked my i7 3770K to 4.5 GHz on first attempt while using iGPU on air cooling. Got it, plugged it in and worked like it was supposed to, zero issues with this motherboard after two months.

If you want the best Z77 motherboard this one has it all, this is the king of Z77! All memory dimm's work without issue, doesn't even really mater which you use for module #1 and #2, red or black it doesn't matter. BIOS is where this board really shines, not much effort to overclock processor.

Pay attention to where the SATA III 6Gbps ports are on board for Intel's controller, I made the mistake of instead using the third part SATA III 6Gbps ports. If using an SSD disable S.M.A.R.T. and make sure SATA is configured for AHCI! Lots of useful software included like the ROG Desktop themes, ROG CPU-Z.

Bought this board for a replacement of my semi-functional Z77 FTW and no regrets!
Everything literally possible included on it works right out of the box!

No memory compatibility problems! My Mushkin 996990 sticks were designed for P67 and still work awesome and overclock stable as high as 2400MHz in 2-stick setup or 2200MHz in 4-stick config, zero trouble! it was a big caveat of Z77 FTW, now all problems gone!

I can use Integrated graphics of my 3770K whenever I need to (e.g. for playing around with Lucid MVP), wasn't the case with Z77 FTW ...

BIOS looks like it came from 22nd century and has multitude of options (still learning it) and possibilities are nearly infinite! it takes a while to get used to it, but it's well worth it and runs very nicely and easily recovers from faulty settings without a need to press the CMOS reset button (haven't used it even once yet!).

I also enjoy the OC Key, WiFi/Bluetooth module and load of apps that actually run great and do what they were designed for!

A+, Great job ASUS! :)))
