Love Maxine, hate shipping container,

Maxine has always been a blast, and I recently introduced my mom to Maxine. She loves the wit, and I bought this calendar for my mom's upcoming birthday.
The only problem I have is with Amazon's packaging for this type of product, and it has happened with the last two items I've ordered. The product arrives with outside packaging that looks fine, but the box containing the gift is somewhat mangled. I have alerted Amazon to this problem and hope that corrective action is forthcoming. In the meantime, I doubt that I will order something of this type as a gift unless I don't mind apologizing for the condition of the box.
