It's odd that I'm a big fan of tactical gear and equipment and this is my first product from this very popular manufacturer. I bought it because of online recommendations when I was looking to thin down my wallet. I'm glad that I did - I had one of those humongous leather tri-fold jobs that would hurt by butt all the time and would hurt my back any time I sat down to long. I even found myself taking my wallet out and putting it in my desk drawer at work, which is pretty dangerous. I shopped around and got this- it took a major thinning of what I could carry, mostly the spare car key and a half dozen cards from businesses that would have been in my phone if I wanted to be able to call them. After I got the essentials in, I probably have about 8 different cards in it and I fold up paper money and put it behind the ID's, I was pleasantly surprised. This wallet is much more comfortable than I ever knew it could be. It is also well constructed, and 6 months of having it I'm sure it's gonna outlast all the leather ones I ever owned.

The Maxpedition Micro is made with military grade ballistic nylon and is fully seam taped. It's rectangular dimensions are just a few millimeters larger than a standard credit card. It has one clear window inside for ID, and two slots on the other side for a few cards and cash. There is also one exterior slot for frequently accessed items.

In my wallet, I now only carry my Driver's License, Insurance Card, Bank Card, Library Card, and paper currency folded in half. My coins I carry in a coin purse. My store membership/loyalty cards I have transferred to a smartphone app, or onto those mini-cards that fit onto one little keychain. Everything else is with the relevant associated gear, like gym card is with gym bag, scuba card is with scuba bag, airline cards with my luggage.

This is my choice for a simple, bare minimum front pocket wallet that lies flat and unobtrusively. It is far more comfortable and secure than the back trouser pockets or a coat pocket. I find that it gets the job done for 95% of my wallet needs (the other 5% I use an expensive dress pocketbook).

I've had mine for about 2 years now and it has held up well for everyday use, traveling and in the field. There is nothing really to break down. It's been accidentally immersed in water a few times with no detriment. It's so small and lightweight that it can fit inside my hat, or in my passport organizer. Really, the only way you can much more minimal is to wrap your ID, cards, and cash in a simple rubber band.

Maxpedition makes innovative, high quality products. This is just an example of their simple, rugged yet practical side.

Good wallet for front pocket carry, has plenty of room.....more than you might think.
I have my military, concealed weapons, drivers and work I.d. in there along with 3 credit cards, numerous insurance cards, a sams club card and cash. its still as slim as when its empty. rugged, will last for years and does not look like something a 12 yr old would carry. highl recommend.

3.5 stars. Use it daily for three months and still using. Great quality but some design flaws. The outer pocket is bit loose and my card there has, on occasion, slipped out as I took out the wallet. Due to this, I'm hesitant to put any card of importance there. Inside is fine, however, it is awkward to place dollar bills in it, as you have fold them in thirds it to fit and be able to close the wallet. This can become quite thick, contradicting why most would purchase this wallet, if you carry more than a few bills.

This is quickly becoming my favorite wallet, Ever! Simple, light, durable, thin & tacti-cool! Nothing fancy here just 1000 denier tough lightweight DuPont Teflon coated nylon. Clear ID window & 2 inside card/ cash pockets.Outside, just as depicted. Back side also has an external pocket. Save your lower back & stop sitting on your old phone book sized wallet where you store all of the stuff that you forgot you put in there & get this wallet. My wallet now fully loaded w/ my drivers license, debit card, ins cards, cwp, military ID,credit card & a few folded bills is STILL thinner than my old leather bifold EMPTY! This thing rocks. Best $12 bucks I ever spent! I love this wallet. Khaki is as pictured & I like it because its a dark khaki, almost green. Several colors to pick from... Khaki, OD green & black. Double stitched every where. Built to mil spec. This thing is as tough as woodpecker lips & cooler than the back side of your pillow. Best part is you barely even notice it's even there! If you can't fit it in this wallet you should go ahead & get a purse anyway. Nuff said.

THIS, is The Perfect Wallet (in my most humble opinion, of course).

Once upon a time, I went to Walmart in search of a new wallet, naturally, since my leather moneyclip/card holder had come apart at the seams(which I had gotten years ago from that very same place.) I am very glad they did not have, on the shelf, that same leather lump I sat on for so long. I very much have a LARGE distaste for LARGE wallets propping up my right cheek all of the time. I hear that is cause for bad backs in men these days.

Anyhow, after about a half hour of REALLY looking those Walmart wallets over good, I came to five revelationous conclusions, my perfect wallet MUST be nylon(lighter and tougher than leather), double stitched, have NO velcro(less attention at checkouts/etc), have room inside to accommodate for laminated cards, and fold ONLY once.

My right cheek thanks me for my decision.

And if my right cheek is happy, I'm happy.. Well, at least with this problem being solved. We all have plenty more problems to be solved.
But, if you have the problem of trying to find the perfect wallet(in my own humble opinion), then consider your problem solved. Now, keep in mind, I don't like to keep a whole bunch of stuff in my wallet. It's only for my debit card, license, hunting license, a couple photos, a 1 ounce silver bar, library card, and a small comb that came with my facial hair trimmer set. I don't keep much cash on me, but it does have room for some.

ALL THAT SAID, thank you, Maxpedition. I am a fan. This wallet lead me to buy the Falcon II as well, and I LOVE that backpack!
