Just another piece of outstanding equipment. I have this hook on my duty belt for my cuff key, and after over half a year of daily use this hooks is barely showing any signs wear. Very well constructed, adjustable, and serves its purpose perfectly. The hook itself is very secure, yet i can still unsnap the ring with one hand while cuffing. Maxpedition in my opinion has some of the best tactical equipment out there.

i have been wearing my keys on my belt loop for years now. i was tired of heavy metal carabiners ripping off my belt loops. so i looked into a better solution. the chain on my wallet attaches to my belt, so why not my keys too? this thing is awesome! the webbing is thick and very sturdy. it wraps both in front and behind your belt, then folds over the top and velcros in place. i was a bit skeptical about the velcro, but after a few weeks of wearing it 24/7 i no longer have any doubts. it has NOT unvelcroed on its own once. the metal key retention clip is super study. as other have mentioned the black paint has begun to chip off on the inside (where the key rings rub it), but personally i think it looks cooler that way. i have two sets of keys (each with a fob) on two rings connected to the clasp. the keyper is just long enough that they all fit perfectly into my pocket. no more clinking keys while i walk. getting the individual key rings off the retention clip took a bit of getting used to (it's a totally different mechanic than the traditional carabiner) but has already become an unconscious task (good thing). to remove a key ring i depress the the retention bar with my right thumb and slide the keyring off with my index and middle finger. but this method only works with the "front most" keyring. if i want to removed the 2nd one i have to use two hands, one to move the keys i dont want forward (but still on the keyper) and the other to do the task i just explained. but maybe this will change over time/use. i really love the keyper, it's the best key system i have ever used. if your looking for something tactical, secure, and to replace a carabiner, check this thing out!

I keep a peanut lighter, Fenix E05, a pill fob, a Leatherman Squirt, car fob, car key, and gun safe key on my key chain. As you can imagine this gets pretty noisy and looks ridiculous. I was jamming it all into my pocket but then I had a massive lump and getting to anything at the bottom of my pocket was impossible. I wear mostly Levis and the belt loops were either ripping or too far away from the front or rear pocket of my jeans. Since this attaches to a belt you can slide it to right above your front or rear pocket and it keeps all of my EDC stuff neatly laid out in my pocket with no bulge or jingling keys. The black scratched off the snap hook but the hook itself is strong, as is the Velcro.

The Maxpediton Keyper is a solid, durable and reliable key retention system that allows you to hold keys or other items on the keyper. The Velcro attachment is very secure and will adjust to different size belts. The keyper is easy to use one handed and securely holds your keys. The alloy snap hook is very high quality and rugged with a lot of tension so that there is no need to be concerned that your keys will detach from the hook without your knowledge. I have had mine for over 4 years and it looks brand new and has performed flawlessly.

I highly recommend the Maxpedition Keyper for anyone who needs to securely attach keys with the ability to get them quickly and easily.

This little gadget does exactly what it says. Stays out of the way when not needed, but incredibly helpful when it is.

Just like all their other products this is very well made.only had it for about 2 months but have used everyday without any issues.does seen to work best with Levi's jeans because their pants loops are in the right location to hook the strap around.i hav about 25 to 30 keys on mine with small carabiner type key hooks so far so good.the main hook that holds the keys has received a few scratches but it stays in my pocket so to me its not an issue.i would definetly recommend this as well as ANY MAXPEDITION product because all their stuff at least what I own is very well made

Having lost the master key for my 4Runner in Boulder Canyon I thought it might be worthwhile to invest in something that can help me hold onto my keys in the future. This does just that. It's heavy duty and fits well either on your belt, in your pocket, or anywhere else you might secure it. The black paint does chip easily... but that just makes it look a little more rugged.

Call me paranoid, but after having my keys slip out of my pocket while hunting in the woods, I've come to the point of being more cautious about keeping them secure when there is a greater chance of loosing them (e.g., hunting, riding carnival rides) or when it would be a major problem to replace them (e.g., on vacation). This is the best solution to secure my keys that I have seen so far. Rugged material and design, yet extremely easy to put on or take off. You can allow your keys to dangle freely by connecting them directly to the Pouch clip (freeing up pocket space), or use a paracord key chain between the Pouch and your keyring to keep your keys secure while remaining quietly out of sight in your pocket. Great item, and a great price!
