I've seen Gary Negbaur perform multiple times, and his latest project, Max's Family Band, brings together his creativity, talent, spirit and formidable songwriting abilities and weaves them into a truly enjoyable album for the whole family. With the help of the rest of the MFB, the tunes are all catchy, in many genres, and overall, it's surprisingly sophisticated in its straightforward approach to music aimed at kids that will satisfy parents, too. In the spirit of acts like Laurie Berkner and Dan Zanes, Max's Family Band will delight both kids and adults and is sure to get everyone out of their seats and onto the beats.
