An excellent book for many ages, October 11, 2000

This review is from: Max's Letter (Jump at the Sun) (Hardcover)
Our 15 month old son loves this book. He especially enjoys taking the letter out of the envelope and "reading" the letter to himself. He also enjoys watching me push the letter through all of the different slots. I believe this book will interest him through his pre-school years as he learns more about our mail system and as he becomes more skilled with his fingers and can push the letter through the slots himself. So far the book is very durable. I can't wait to get more books by this author.

Design flaw in book, July 10, 2000

Oddly enough, the letter in this book does not go all the way through the final mail slot into Max's mail bag, which is the reason I am giving it 3 stars. At first I thought the book might be defective, but it really doesn't appear to be. Max's Money is much better and I would give it 5 stars. My son did like the little letter enclosed in this book though.
