I don't like Max and Ruby, they drive me crazy (well, Ruby does. Max is benign enough). But my 3 year old loves them, and we put this on her kindle, and it has totally proven worth the 20 bucks it cost to get the first two seasons. You can download them or stream them, so she streams at home and we have a few episodes downloaded for long car rides. There are 3 shorts per episode, so there are dozens and dozens of stories in this one product.

Great stories, I wish I had as much patience with my daughter as Ruby has with Max! We have great conversations about the story lines and life lessons contained and I frequently think of how Ruby is so patient when I find myself getting aggrivated, so maybe this is as good for me as my daughter!

Just wonder where the parents are, I really don't think a 7 year old is head of the house material!

Unlike other popular shows on Nick Jr, Max and Ruby is more slow paced and repetitive (in a good way). The characters are adorable, and this is a great choice for the young child who is allowed to watch TV (though they should hold off until 18months/2 years if possible).

My daughter loves Max and Ruby and without cable television, this package of episodes is a great way for her to get her screen time and enjoy a fun show for a reasonable price.

We had to return it, since instant watch did not work on our system.
We have high speed internet, never had problems with netflix. This was the first movie we got on Amazon instant watch and it kept freezing and loading forever.
Our 2 year old loves this show, so we will have to buy it on DVD.
