Format: Audio CD
Producer Michael Omartian, along with the equally talented, and soon-to-be producers Robbie Buchanan and Jay Gruska, plus master session guitarist Mike Landau, formed this studio band just for the sheer joy of creating some sweet sounds,Omartian just having scored big-time with Christopher Cross' multiple grammy-winning debut album. If you're a big fan of groove-ballads,"Keep A Light On" is a bute, and even the somewhat Doobie-derivative "Nobody's Business" cooks too.Personally,I'm of the belief that the period btwn. '77 and '85 or so was a sort of "studio-aesthetic" renaissance, with guys like David Foster,Jay Graydon, the guys from Toto, etc.,right at their zenith of musicality & spirit of invention. The upshot of what I'm saying here is that this album will fall on "deaf" ears if you're not already an AOR/Pop-Fusion geek like me.So buy it,or I will.

What can I say? This album is just pure West Coast excellence! No track skipping with this album, because every song is solid talent.
