I love Maxwell House Coffee and was very excited when I saw this for the Keurig. I had just purchased the new Keurig 2.0 machine and was anxious to try the Maxwell house coffee in it. Well, they don't work. They are not comparable with the Keurig 2.0 Machine. I was very dissapointed.

We recently purchased several different Maxwell House K Cups. They have been universally messy in our machine. The grounds leak out into the coffee cup and when the K cup is removed from the machine it drips all over. This does not happen with any other brand. Flavor is good, but not worth the pain.

I found this coffee similar to Folgers, Green Mountain "Nantucket" or Donut Shop blends however, the current Amazon sub-contractor's price is a little high to compete. I may buy this brand again when it's price is competative with it's taste peers.

Not only are the prices of these on Amazon ridiculous, these are awful! For starters, Maxwell House has claimed "new look, same great taste" but the truth is, the taste of their coffee has changed and it tastes worse. Maxwell House claims that their cup is supposed to "Expand for a better brew" but it actually makes weak coffee. What Maxwell House did not take into consideration is this: when the coffee pod expands, the coffee gets pushed to the side of it, and the result is water runs through very little coffee grounds and that means weak brown hot water. The reason why some people have problems with these "k-cups" is because these cups are not licensed by Keurig. Keurig means quality when a k-cup is licensed.

For those who do love Maxwell House and are Keurig owners, be on the lookout! Within a few months, we'll see Maxwell House k-cups on the market that are actually licensed by Keurig and will have the same cup design as you see with all other Keurig licensed k-cups. I found this out through the news section on Keurig's website. This will actually produce a cup of coffee that tastes like Maxwell House coffee instead of weak brown water. Once those hit the shelves in stores and on Amazon, you should try them again. Just remember to look for the official "Keurig Brewed" seal. Plus, those new Maxwell House k-cups will work for the Keurig 2.0.

I have been a Maxwell House Coffee drinker for over ten years. I purchased a Keurig single Kcup coffee maker a year ago and used the Maxwell House Kcups. A few times I experienced coffee grounds in the bottom of my coffee cup. After experimenting with several other brands of kcups, it is determined this problem is unique to Maxwell House. I love the taste of Maxwell, and have been drinking it for years, however because of this problem I am looking for another brand of coffee to use.

Having had surprisingly good experiences with Maxwell House coffee in restaurants (i.e. it was so tasty I had to ask what it was), I figured I'd give these a whirl, especially after reading the few reviews there were.

My verdict: Underwhelming.

Flavor:
If you like robust, full-bodied coffee that actually tastes like coffee, and not coffee-ish water, this isn't for you. It's not awful, just not what I was hoping for.

Price:
I paid $19.99 for 18 cups, expecting something really good. It's not worth the money paid. I shan't buy more. I get better (and more) coffee at the Keurig site. 24 cup packages go for $14.02.

Product:
So far, three out of the last 12 cups we've drunk were defective - the machine would not/could not puncture a hole in the bottom of the cup.

So...save your money.

Won't buy these again. Too bad because the coffee might be good. For whatever reason, maxwell house went with a cup design with a slightly rounded bottom, different from every other k cup in the known universe. It results in ground in your coffe, grounds in your Kurig, and overflows on the counter. We just tossed the rest after too many bad cups and will avoid this brand in the future. I hope their QA/QC department is aware.
