Installed this vent cover on our living quarters horse trailer. It's a good product because it does three things. First, it allows warm air to exit the trailer, as intended. Second, it does keep even the heaviest rain from entering the trailer, also as intended. A third benefit is if you leave the vent open while traveling, this device prevents the vent from damage at normal interstate driving speeds. Without this cover your vent would likely become roadside trash as it would certainly be damaged and maybe even seperated from your trailer completely on a long drive. It's worth the money for that reason alone and it is fairly easy to install.

This was fairly easy to install. I leave my vent open and not a drop of rain has leaked in. Gave it 4 stars because it doesn't let your vent open completely and you have to position just right so that you can get it to open as much as possible. Overall it looks good and does the job.

I live in FL, where we get some pretty heavy rain storms. With this roof vent protector, I have left my roof vent fully open in driving rain, both while on the road and when parked. I have yet to get any rain inside.

Putting a vent cover on your RV is a no-brainer! This cover protects the vent dome from damage from the sun, wind and tree limbs. You can leave the vent open and not worry about rain getting into your camper. The install process is very easy - if you are able to get on your RV roof easily and have a cordless drill, screwdriver and wrench. Just drill four holes and tighten the screws and nuts (check the you tube clip on installing a vent cover). No caulk is needed as it just "hovers" over the vent, not touching your roof.

Great product, does exactly what it should and looks much better than the standard pop-up vent. Air flow seems a bit less than with the standard vent (my RV fan is admittedly weak), as flow is restricted to the rear of the unit.

I have used Maxxair products for some time, they are always great and easy to install.

keeps my travel trailer alot cooler during the summer months while i wasn't using it. better price than any where else.

I had to replaced my Maxxair's with new ones simply due to age. This order took an awfully long time to arrive. Not normal for Amazon but they got here. In the box were two new Maxxairs but they were two different versions of the product. I don't know which was the newest design but one looked as though it had been re-enforced around the bolt holes. Which is a good thing as that is where they failed and needed to be replaced. They went on exactly as described and took no more than 30 minutes to install. These units truly help reduce the interior temperature and are a standard feature on my RV's.

Terrific investment for any travel trailer, RV or fifth wheel. Very easy to install and a vent life saver. Highly recommended.

This is the first vent cover I have purchased since I am a new RV owner. The installation was quite easy with very clear instructions. The covers do just what I wanted, keep rain out when the vent is open and allow me to leave the vents open while driving.
