This album contains 10 beautiful songs in the heavenly voice of Heather Dale. The songs are about King Arthur and his knights. I recommend this album for some enjoyable music, Kingsword above all others.

"May Queen", the fourth recording by Modern Celtic singer-songwriter Heather Dale, sees her return to familiar ground as she once again explores the timeless legends of King Arthur.

These ancient tales are told with the rhythms of today; a little jazz here, a little rock there and a healthy helping of Celtic folk. Entirely written by Heather, who co-produced the album with Prince Edward Island's Jason MacNeill, "May Queen" is an aural storybook which features such instruments as piano, cello, Irish flute, electric guitar, and uillean bagpipes.

Heather melds her powerful vocals with creative performances by some of Canada's top session musicians, including Canadian jazz legend Guido Basso on flugelhorn. The album was recorded, mixed and mastered at two of Canada's finest studio facilities (Manta DSP and Phase One), and features the talents of acclaimed engineers Gary Gray (Gordon Lightfoot, Bruce Cockburn) and George Seara (Anne Murray, Pink, Cirque du Soleil).

The result is an ethereal, polished album in the vein of such artists as Loreena McKennitt, The Corrs and Sarah McLachlan.
