It's hard to find games that will play 8 people, I got Tsuro because it fit this description. This game couldn't be simpler to learn and play, play time is about 10 - 15 minutes. We've played it with 2 people, all the way through to with 8 people and enjoy it every time. There's some strategy involved, but our 8 year old plays and loves this game, and so do the grown-ups. Given the quick play time is is an easy choice for a quick game on school nights, or when there's not hours to invest in a game.

The board is a good sturdy quality as are the pieces. All in all this was a great purchase and one that I am sure will get plenty of use in our house, and in our regular board game group.

I've played this twice with my daughter and one of her friends (11 and 12 years old, respectively). The quality of the board, cards, and marks is good. The cards are heavy stock, making them a little difficult to shuffle, but they work very well when placed on the board.

Game play is simple. For the second game we found that we worked a little harder at strategy, but it was mostly defensive. I can see how it would be even more fun with more players and better chance at knocking someone else off of the board. Games are very quick, just 10-15 minutes for the three of us.

We did have some confusion about what to do with the "dragon" tile. However, after playing it I can see how this might come into play with a larger number of players and better chance at eliminating players during the game.

Tsuro is a very fun board game which changes every time you play it. Because the possible paths your pieces can follow are influenced by which tiles the other players choose to play, no two games of Tsuro are the same. This diversity in outcomes makes Tsuro a great game to play. Also it's rules are very simple and straight forward, so it's easy to master and get new players up to speed. This game is appropriate for both adults and children.

Simply put, this is a gorgeous game. The rules are simple and the execution is excellent. I would strongly recommend more than 2 players however, the rules are such that with two players, there is a strong chance of both players losing/winning simultaneously.

The beginning of the game is rather zen. You simply follow your path as you build it and see where it leads you. Near the end, strategy comes more into play as you try to stay in the game while trying to bump your opponents off the board, or simply work towards sticking around long enough to win. Don't be fooled by the game's simplicity, it can get quite complex following all of your potential paths to determine which is the best route.

Played and enjoyed this game at a relatives after Christmas and had to get a copy for ourselves. A reasonably quick game to play and easy to learn. Fun for all ages and helps one visualize the consequences of their own actions.

I'm always looking for good games that can accommodate a wide variation in number of players. Even those that do often play best with a specific number, so the list of games that play well with large or small group is very short.

Tsuro distinguishes itself from this already exclusive list by being incredibly easy to introduce to new players, playing in less than a half hour and being great for younger players as well.

Gameplay is straightforward: each turn you play a tile from your hand in front of your pawn. Each tile has four paths, each one connecting two of the eight marks on the sides of the tiles. You then move your pawn along the path it is on. The strategy comes from the fact that if your tile creates paths for any of the other player's pieces they also move. The goal is to stay on the board, while trying to force your opponents off it.

Tsuro plays equally well with anywhere from 2 to 8 people, and is easily understandable for anyone in the suggested age range (8 & up). It's a light strategy game, where the luck of which tiles you draw can largely effect the outcome. However it's a lot of fun, and the short start up and play times make it a great game to have on hand for any group of players.

Love this game. Have given it to several families and they all have enjoyed it. Different paths created everytime you play. It is also a great equalizer for young children and adults.

This is a fun game that the entire family (over 5) can play. We have given this game to each of our children's families. They all have enjoyed it and shared it with their friends. Nice way to interact without video games.

This game is simple to learn but a challange to master. After playing a few games, winning strategies start to appear.

My family really enjoys playing this game. My older boy especially loves to "screw your neighbor" and play tiles to knock people off the bored.
