About the Author
Tina L. Christiansen is an adoptive mother of a girl named Maya. She wanted a story representing Maya's story of adoption. Tina called Susan E. Lindsley about writing a story. They had been friends since college. They collaborated on the story and Maya's Journey Home was created. With help from another college friend who is a wonderful artist, the watercolor pictures were created. Wendy M. Cannon used her talents to bring the story to life. These three friends used their individual talents to bring Maya's Journey Home to fruition. In their everyday lives, Tina L. Christiansen is reveling in being a mother to Maya and enjoying all the wonderment that motherhood brings to her. Susan E. Lindsley is a elementary teacher and part-time writer always working on new stories, usually using friends as characters. Wendy M. Cannon is an elementary teacher and artist who uses her family, especially her kids and cats as subjects in her paintings.
